Pastor's Statement

Rev. NickyI am Rev. Nixon A. Muloma. I was born in Kenya in 1975. The call of God came upon my life in 1995 when I started reaching parts of Kenya with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the Great Commission in the book of Matthew 28:19-20. Since then I was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God to begin a church ministry in which I have several branches across the country. In 2006 God laid a vision of starting an orphanage called Hope Education Centre. To bring hope to the hopeless lives.

Hope Education Centre has grown through the contribution of church members and has continued by the grace of God to serve a great number of orphans and currently due to the increased number of these children we are faced by a number of challenges to satisfy the needs of the centre. I believe that it is the responsibility of the people of God to join hands and speak to children of God and the children of the world. Currently the centre is carrying the following programs:

  1. Orphans and vulnerable children sponsorship
  2. Education support
  3. Spiritual nourishment
  4. Vocational training
  5. Sports for social change
  6. Care and support
  7. Guidance and counseling
  8. Drug addict counseling and rehabilitation
  9. HIV/AIDS awareness
  10. Agricultural demonstration trainings
  11. Food and clothing support

What does God have to say about caring for the orphans?

"When you are harvesting in your field and you overlook a sheaf, do not go back to get it. Leave it for the alien, the fatherless and the widow, so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands."

"For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons by which we cray out, 'Abba, Father!'"
