Children at Hope Education Centre

Bringing hope and Jesus Christ to one child at a time.

A special place that offers hope and kindness to orphaned children!

Kenya has been devastated by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. In Kenya, four out of every ten people are either infected or affected by the virus. Because of this, Kenya is currently ranked among countries with the highest number of aids orphans in the world. There are currently over 350,000 AIDS orphans in Kenya. At least 8.5% of the adult population is HIV-positive. According to the World Health Organization, approximately 1.2 million children in Kenya have lost one or both parents to the disease (UNAIDS / WHO Report, 2008). The number of completely orphaned children has increased steadily over the years. At Hope Education Centre, we are trying to make a difference in the lives of children who are now without parents. Please take a moment to view our website and find out what you can do to help.

What does God have to say about caring for the orphans?

"Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitude."

"Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world."
